~~Friday Flea Market Special~~50% off of
all my items on this site!
I find it so hard to believe that it is already 2009~~
Does anyone have winter projects that they are working on? I am already making Valentine's Day items and keeping busy on Etsy. Don't you just love that site??!!
I use my winter months here in Indiana for my cozy nesting time. I like to get in my flannel pants after work and stay in. I think it makes the winter fly by when you enjoy it! Might as well make the most of the dreary cold winter months~ not like spring will come any sooner being miserable:-)
This is a dish of fun little inspiring things that I keep in my studio. I spilled the entire dish the other day and when I picked it all up this how it turned out.
I finished this lamp shade right before Christmas~~ it is vintage rose fabric on an neat old lamp. I have it for sale in my antique store. A friend of mine~Kathy (a blog spy) loves it but can seem to make up her mind if she is going to buy it or not, lol. She does enjoy reading everyone's blogs and we chat about how much fun everyone is here in blogland. I am trying to get her to start a blog because she has tons of yummy antiques, barkcloth, pink roses, etc!!
Hope everyone is happy and well~Blessings to all in the new year!
Michelle

I saw your fluffy little tags in the wee thumbnail on my page and darted over so I could "pet" them LOL.
Yes! Tell your friend she needs to jump in and join us!
Hi Michelle...I feel better knowing I'm not the last one with thier tree up...but I did get it undecorated as of yesterday. I already miss the pretty lights.
I have to laugh, I'm living in flannels too, it's been so cold here. Hope you are having a good weekend..no special plans here but tomorrow we're going to the 2nd Sunday peddler's fair.
Your new tags are darling and the lampshade is so pretty especially on that lamp base....you have the best ideas....hugs, Linda
The lamp is beautiful! Your tags are adorable, too!
You're back! (finally, lol)
Love your bowl for of inspirational gorgeousness!
Love love love the lamp! I tried lamps once a long time ago but just did not enjoy that..... so will leave it to the gals such as you......
Have a blessed Sunday girl
Is that a little purse in the basket with beads on it? I love the lamp, I am sure Kathy will purchase it, I can just imagine that lamp setting on someones desk of long ago and them working into the night. You always have the nicest things, thanks for coming by.
Hi Michelle, The lamp is gorgeous and I love all the bling in the bowl! I'm glad you are back and thanks for coming by to visit. Oh, and your friend should start her own blog, I'm trying to convince my friend to do the same. She has so much creativity in her!
I'm glad you dropped in to my blog and left a comment on my story. It's great that you enjoyed it.
I love the vintage lamp shade. You did a terrific job. I'm crazy over vintage items and have quite a few in my collection. Some headvases, crystal, ruby glass...a bit of this and a bit of that. If I like it and can afford it, I buy it. LOL
Take care and be warm and cozy. Winter is nice but this deep freeze coming into Ontario is going to keep me in hibernation.
Blessings,
Mary
