Here are a couple pics of my honeysuckle that went wild this year!! It smells amazing. These photos don't even begin to do it justice.
I found this Honeysuckle Martini recipe in the March/April Victoria. I haven't tried it yet but thinking it might be an interesting flavor.

Honeysuckle Martini~
1 1/2 ounces vanilla vodka
2 ounces Honeysuckle simple syrup*recipe below
1 1/2 ounces club soda
1. Fill cocktail shaker halfway with ice. Add vodka, Honeysuckle Simple Syrup. and club soda to shaker. Shake mixture for 5 to 10 seconds.
2. Strain mixture into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with honeysuckle blossom if desired.

*Honeysuckle Simple Syrup~makes 1 1/2cups.
1 cup of sugar
1 cup of water
50 Honeysuckle blossoms(stripped of leaves and stems)
1.In a small saucepan combine sugar water and honeysuckle blossoms over medium-high heat stirring constantly. Bring mixture to a boil; reduce heat to low and simmer for 3 to 4 minutes, stirring constantly until sugar is dissolved.
2. Remove from heat, and cool completely. Strain into an airtight container. Store simple syrup in refrigerator for up to 3 weeks.
